Containerized road freight to Malta, is my purpose for posting to this forum. I am preparing a shipment for my employer that will begin at our warehouse here at Trenton, New Jersey, in the United States, and will have a final destination at Malta. Since this cargo is sufficient to fill a 48 ft ocean container, we figure that shipping by air freight is not feasible for this shipment. We would like to ship this cargo by the end of next week. When can you make an empty ocean container available for us to load? Will you accept a 48 hour notice of a pickup appointment? How much will you charge us to ship this loaded container with a gross weight of the cargo of 34,903 pounds? Will any duties, fees, or taxes, be included in your shipping charges? Would you happen to know if Malta charges any incidental charges? If so, who pays those charges?
